Learn meditation in Brighton

Shakyamuni triptych by Aloka New Shop

You can learn to meditate at the Brighton Buddhist Centre. The Brighton Buddhist Centre is part of the Triratna Buddhist Community. It is open to the public on weekdays from 12.30 to 2.30pm and offers courses and classes in meditation, Buddhism and Yoga for all levels of experience.
The Buddhist Centre is affiliated to the Triratna Buddhist Order (formerly the FWBO) which was founded in 1967 by Urgyen Sangharakshita.

We are one of over 80 Centres worldwide, directed by members of the Triratna Buddhist Order and linked by a common approach to make Buddhism and meditation accessible in the modern world. We welcome people of all ages, cultures and heritages.

The Brighton Buddhist Centre (Triratna Buddhist Community - Brighton) has been a registered charity (charity no. 273682) since 1976 and has taught meditation and Buddhism to many thousands of local people from Brighton and Sussex over this time.

There are disabled facilities and wheelchair access to the whole building.
